With Videoload, Internet television Entertain offers Deutsche Telekom a full-blown video-on-demand solution. Registration for the Video on Demand service is free, and films and other videos can be rented or even purchased for a fee.
Videoload can be downloaded to a PC or laptop via the Internet, and more and more TV manufacturers are also offering their own app that allows content to be accessed directly on the TV screen. Direct access to Videoload is possible on Telekom Entertain receivers.
Videoload is interesting for those consumers who want to rent a film or a series episode for a fee. A very large selection of current blockbusters and classics speak for Videoload. The provider does not have a subscription model in its program. If you are looking for a “video flatrate” instead, you should rather look around at Watchever, Maxdome or Amazon.
Videoload Online Video Store: Video on Demand from 99 Cent
Videoload offers more than 15,000 films and series to view, for the individual titles are then due from 99 cents, but from € 4.99 the videos can also be purchased. HD fans won’t miss out on Videoload either, because a lot of content is available in pin-sharp HD quality. For current blockbusters that have just made it from the cinema to the online video store, users usually have to pay 4.99 Euro (SD) or 5.99 Euro (HD) rental fee.
Videoload access is also possible directly via the receiver at Telekom Entertain – Deutsche Telekom’s Internet television service. The videos are then searched for, selected and started directly via remote control. With EntertainTV Plus, the whole thing even works particularly conveniently via the Media Receiver 401, because Videoload is integrated into the intelligent search function.
If you’d like to test the Videoload offering first, you can access free content, and a small selection of films, TV series and music concerts is currently available for download.
Can be called up on PC, laptop and TV sets
The possibilities for retrieving video load content are becoming more and more diverse. For example, the classic access route via PC or laptop is a good option, but films and series can also be viewed directly on the TV screen. For this purpose, the PC or notebook can be connected to the TV set via an HDMI cable, for example, and the manufacturers LG, Samsung and Panasonic can even call it up via the Smart TV interface. A list of all compatible models is listed on Videoload’s website.
Anyone who receives the TV program via Deutsche Telekom’s Entertain connection can access the Videoload content directly via the Telekom Media Receiver.
